How to set your own domain name servers

If you would like to use your own domain name servers (eg. ns1.yourdomain.com, ns2.yourdomain.com, ns3.yourdomain.com), please follow the steps below to configure it.
 

 

1. Login to your domain registrar’s control panel and find the place where to define your own name servers to set your dns name servers, eg, ns1.yourdomain.com 72.26.101.2, ns2.yourdomain.com 209.132.245.131, ns3.yourdomain.com 208.118.63.168.

2. Set your domain's name servers to point your own dns name server eg, ns1.yourdomain.com, ns2.yourdomain.com from your domain registrar's control panel.

3. Login to your hosting account with us -->websites from the top navigation, click "+ Manage domain name" to add the domain to the corresponding site


4. In the hosting account -->DNS , add A record of ns1.yourdomain.com to 72.26.101.2,  A record of ns2.yourdomain.com to 209.132.245.131 and A record of ns3.yourdomain.com to 208.118.63.168


After the dns propagtion, your own dns name servers would be working fine.
